Oh my god. It's about noon here, yesterday was F***ing amazing!! In the morning we ended up taking a walk around the Beijing Film Academy, had dumplings and noodles for breakfast which were delicious beyond belief! An hour later, still partially full from the previous noms, we all had lunch with professors from the new media, cinematography departments, and the food DID NOT STOP! It was insane, every five minutes there was a new platter of something on the table, all of it absolutely delicious. Then we took a trip to see the artwork of two of the professors, and by five o'clock ended up in a very tourist-ish bystreet in northwest beijing, which was awesome nonetheless and so exciting, so many cool little shops. And just when I thought the afternoon might have been winding down, we got in touch with our collaborators, had dinner (I'm gonna be rolling off the plane if the amount of food stays like this XD no complaints though) and went to the olympic garden at around eight or nine at night. Talk about beautiful, OMFG the water cube was amazing, and the nests was probably THE coolest buildings I've ever seen in my life. Today we met with a few of the head professors in the photography department to discuss the future of the Beijing! Now class, which of course is the reason we're here, and tonight we're going to another school nearby to have dinner with a couple professors there. YAY! MORE FOOD! Tomorrow is, if all goes according to plan, the big day. Our collaborators have offered to show us around Beijing, and see a bunch of the big sights. It will be amazing, and of course, there will be pictures. I'll be uploading pictures i've taken so far later in the day, but right now it's getting close to time for lunch. MORE FOOD! See ya later!
